This bird cushion is made from two semi-circle shapes that are sewn together. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Bella is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). To make Bella you will need to know how to knit stripes, and cast on stitches at the end of a row using backward loop.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, felt fabric and buttons for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 30cm wide.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
