This pattern is available both in English and French.

“Belle Etoile” is a triangular shawl, knitted in one piece, from the top and down.
Throughout the project, we use a smocked stitch pattern which brings texture and all its identity to this shawl. The smocks are easy to make, and this technique, even if it takes a little time, accentuates the meditative process of knitting, and tends to be really addictive.

The texture, thus obtained, particularly highlights the sublime dyer work of my dear friend Nathalie (ByNight Dyes).

“Belle Etoile” est un châle triangulaire, qui se tricote d’une pièce, du haut vers le bas.
Tout au long du projet, on utilise un point smocké qui apporte de la texture et toute son identité à ce châle. Les smocks sont simples à réaliser, et cette technique, même si elle demande un peu de temps, accentue le processus méditatif du tricot, tant elle est addictive.

La texture ainsi obtenue met particulièrement en valeur le sublime travail de teinturière de ma chère amie Nathalie (ByNight Dyes).
