Bellevue Shrug
In-depth look inside the pattern: Bellevue Barre Report
28 pages: written instructions, stitch pattern charts, shaping charts, schematics
This elegant shrug, knit from gorgeously airy laceweight mohair, allows the graceful Eyelet Leaves patterns to swoop along the bottom of the back and bloom upwards to a high back collar that elongates your back. Long sleeves work from a distinctly feminine scallop over the back of the hand to a stockinette arm to showcase the lace. The lace pattern does all the work, creating an intricate piece that will turn any outfit into an extraordinary ensemble.
moderately engaging / lace, twisted stitches, short rows
