THESE BEADED wristwarmers will make a really pretty little gift, and they should be quick to knit, too. Designed by Jane Burns, they’re worked using one skein of a hand-dyed sock yarn from Sparkleduck, which produces a subtly variegated fabric. The central section is decorated with a beaded flower motif – a nice introduction to knitting with beads if you haven’t tried it before – and this is edged with simple columns of rib.
