Beloved started out as a shawl design for a friend’s wedding. It quickly took on a life of its own!

This is a lace weight (or light fingering weight) shawl that is worked flat. There is an option at the end to fold the ends in half to be sewn together, to create the sleeves of a shrug.

Beads are worked into the design at both ends and through out the middle.

Size
One size. Extra (or less) pattern repeats of the feather lace pattern may be worked to adjust the overall length.

Finished blocked measurements
45 inches in length, 21 inches across.

Gauge
7 stitches and 12 rows = 1 inch in stockinette, unblocked.
