This is an asymmetrical top that is crocheted in pieces and uses a join as you go method of putting them together.
I would say this is an intermediate level.
In the pattern, directions are given to allow you to make it in any size you want or need, from toddler up. The pattern also walks you through creating your gauge.
I used 4 different colours of cotton that I had in my stash, one skein of each.
