Berries and Cream Beanie
Berries and Cream Beanie
- an original design by Fiona Langtry for ReVe Design Co
PATTERN OF THE MONTH - JAN 2020 - AU$2 at checkout
Using sumptuous yarns in both 8ply (DK weight) and 12 ply (Chunky Weight), create yourself a beautiful 2-toned beanie fit for a queen!
This beanie starts from the crown, drawing circles out until you get to a row of textured cross-stitch. Soon thereafter, the yarn thickness and color changes with a cinch in at the forehead to keep your beautiful hat in place.
The pattern includes instructions for the flower - use your imagination when it comes to matching a button for this hat!
Requirements:
60-70 meters of 8ply yarn & 60-80 meters of 12ply yarn.
1 button
1 yarn needle
1 needle which fits through the button holes
5.5mm hook.
The fit of this beanie is relaxed, so it may fit a ‘large’ ladies head. You can play with the number of rounds in the crown to size it up or down.
(NOTE: If you suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, you may find crochet Cross Stitch a problem. If this is the case, please do not purchase this pattern!)
Enjoy!!!
