I love linen market bags. Linen is so strong, yet it gets softer with every wash. The motif featured in this handy linen bag has popcorn clusters for added texture on the outside of the bag, and there is a secondary small motif
worked into the square space centered between every four motifs. It gives the illusion of being worked separately, but is crocheted around the interior edges of the four motifs just as you are joining the fourth motif to the grid. As an added bonus, the gussets and strap are all crocheted right from the motifs. Only the beginning and end yarn tails need be woven into the finished bag.
