These socks are inspired by the novel A Berry Deady by A.R. Winters for the Cozy Sock Mystery: A Yarn and Charm Club. The checker pattern is reminiscent of a floor pattern you would see at a dinner and the cables are inspired by the warmed up spaghetti that Kyile Berry has to serve to her customers throughout the story because she can“t cook.

The sock is constructed cuff down and uses a slip stitch heel and gusset. The pattern is written for magic loop but can easily be adapted for double pointed needles.
