Berrylicious
This pattern was originally published as the March 2013 pattern for Twisted’s 2013 Sock Club.
This fabulous berry-hued yarn needed to be made into a bobbled sock, and I mean NEEDED. While playing around with various swatches, I discovered the demure petite lace design that adorns the instep and was inspired to make these socks ladylike in front, party in the back with a saucy bobbled panel and linen stitch heel flap that will have them watching as you walk away. Luckily, this pattern is as fun to knit as it is to look at with an easy rhythm and enough variety to keep it interesting.
Notions - Tapestry needle.
Skill level - Intermediate (knitting in the round, bobbles, grafting).
Size/Finished measurements – Women’s Small (Medium, Large). Instep circumference:
6.5 (8, 9.75)“. All sizes: cuff measurement: 6”.
errata - on Round 2 of Shape Gusset, heel needle instructions should begin “k1, SSK…” instead of “k1, k2tog…”
