Betty Hat
by Susan Kerin
Betty Hat of 3-ply sport wt yarn (thin yarn!). Worked with very large size needle to create great stretch and softness. It ends up feeling very lofty and like putting your hands into a cloud. The piece is knitted on circular needles as a long tube. The tube is then folded in half, creating a double-thick hat, but still very soft with stretch and loftiness.
