BFF 4 Ever
BFF 4-Ever is a throwback sock. Remember the days of wearing the shortie socks with a pom on the back? This memory takes me back to the days of writing my best friend’s name on my notebook, followed by BFF 4-Ever.
These socks are knit in the round, magic loop style. They begin with a 1x1 twisted rib stitch pattern, which is then folded over to make a nice folded cuff. The sock is then knit for a few rows, and the heel flap and gusset are added. The foot is knit in plain stockinette to the toe, and then toe shaping is incorporated to form a nicely fitted toe, ending with Kitchener stitching them closed. There are directions included to make the tiny pom.
Yarn - 436 yds of speckled, self-striping, variegated, tonal, or solid yarn and a small amount of a CC to make the pom.
Skills:
Old Norwegian or German Twisted cast on
Knitting through the back loop
Picking up stitches (both for the folded cuff and the gusset)
