From Interweave Knits, Fall 2006:

"Michele Rose Orne based her design for an easygoing cardigan on the qualities of the yarn she used. The rustic tweedy silk yarn suggested a casual, swingy silhouette and an unfussy stitch with strong definition. She experimented with several lace and mesh patterns before deciding on the right combination of stitches to incorporate in the round yoke and extended cuff.

Lace Gauge:
17 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches in lace pattern from charts using circular needles in smallest size for yoke.

Finished Size: 35 (38, 46 ½, 49 ½)“ bust circumference. Jacket shown measures 38”.

Yarn: Muench Yarns Sir Galli (100% silk; 104 yd. [95 m]/50 g): #4902 tan tweed, 7 (8, 10, 11) balls.
