Bibit-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. You can adjust the length by adding more pattern repeats for more slouchy hat. You can block the hat moderately or aggressively and so change the appearance from more close fitting to looser beanie.

Yarn

Fingering weight (384-400 m/ 419.9-437.4 yds per 100 g) yarn in two colours, 30, 30, 30, 40 g of MC and 20 g of CC.

The sample hat (size M) was knitted with Hedgerow SW Merino/Nylon Sock, 75% Merino, 25% Nylon, 425 m/ 465 yds per 100 g in colourway Ooak (MC) and Malabrigo Yarn Sock, 100% Merino, 384 m/ 419.9 yds per 100 g in colourway Frank Ochre (CC) and used 30 g of MC and 20 g of CC.

2.75 mm/ US 2 and 3.25 mm/ US 3 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of four DPNs.
