This pattern is simple to knit and can look very different depending on the combinations of colors (both solid and variegated) you choose to use.

The blanket is knit in “one” piece creating squares of stockinette and seed stitch with a simple but textural garter border. The large squares make for easy and quick knitting.

Approximate size 28” x 32”. Can easily be adjusted.

If you choose to use two colors as shown, you will need (4) skeins of each color, but feel free to make it in one color if you wish (8) skeins of one color.
Use markers to let you know when you have to change stitch patterns and then it becomes a great TV watching project!
It is truly an heirloom blanket and will be passed on and on.
