Our second square of the Big Boy Blanket is all about sports! From basketball to football to soccer, boys have a fascination with throwing, kicking, hitting, and bouncing balls of all shapes and sizes.

These squares are created with tapestry crochet. Row-by-row written instructions are provided using single crochet. A graph is also provided to allow you to use half-double crochet, puff stitches, or even corner-to-corner. You can weave in the ends or back your blanket with fabric–you’re only limited by your imagination!

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn: 1 skein each of White (A), Brown (B), Orange (C), Red (D), Black (E).

Materials: US Size I/9 (5.5mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors
