This pattern is based on my baby sized From the Top Mock Turtleneck, using the same neck shaping but with more stitches cast on and done in bulky yarn to yield a youth L-XL (youth 14-16) depending on your gauge.
This pattern is designed to fit Wool-aid guidelines for sweaters.
My test knit literally used every inch of 6 skeins of Lamb’s Pride Bulky, so I recommend having 7 skeins on hand if working this sweater in that particular yarn, or similar yardage of a substitute yarn.
