I just had to knit something out of this amazing Yak and Silk yarn -- I fell in love! And what better to express love than hugs and kisses.

The cowl is color blocked with two different lace fabrics. The heathered Cathay is the X’s and the Variegated Cathay 4 is the O’s. They share a color together and are very harmonious. Three button hold the cowl together and you use the O’s as button holes.

One note about the yarn. The manufacturer lists it as a worsted but it is a very light worsted yarn. If you are not going to use this amazing yarn (and the thought makes me sad) you might want to go to a heavy DK.
