size to obtain gauge), tapestry needle,

Gauge:
22 sts with 4mm needle knit (stocking stitch) for
28 rows makes a 4” (10cm) square.

Notes:
The garment is knit with different variegated
yarns in stripes. Pick opposite variegated colours
but find one colour in common.
