A quick and easy ear warmer that your yarn stash is just begging you to make! Using beginner-level stitches, this pattern is suitable for any crocheter looking for a quick project or a simple staple pattern for markets and craft shows. I made a bunch of these in the fall/winter market season of 2021. These ear warmers sold like hotcakes and were very easy (and fast) to make!

The Billowing Ear Warmer crochet pattern includes instructions on how to make the ear warmer using Lion Brand Hue + Me yarn, but any weight 4, 5, or 6 yarn can be used, as detailed recipe-style instructions are also included.

This pattern includes instructions for four standard sizes (based on Craft Yarn Council standard sizing): baby, toddler, child, teen/adult. Recipe-style instructions are included so sizing can be customized to preferred size/fit.

This ear warmer is seamed into a twisted knot. A photo tutorial is included for this process.

Written in US Terminology (English)
Gauge instructions included.
Materials: Yarn: approx. 20 - 40 yards Lion Brand Hue + Me (see recipe style instructions to use any other weight 4, 5, 6 yarn)
Hook: 8mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Notions: Measuring tape, tapestry needle, scissors

Fun fact: The name inspo came from the way the ear warmer stitches “billow” out from the twisted knot.
