Bird's Nest Shrug
by Tanis Gray
Worked sideways, then partially seamed to create sleeves, Tanis Gray’s architectural beaded shrug is a medley of texture and glamour. A horizontal rib and slip-stitch pattern has beads crocheted in to emphasize the cabling at a seemingly random interval, yet it is done very much in an orderly fashion. A lace collar knit separately and attached with a three-needle bind off completes the structured look.
RT is a twist: put 1 st on cable needle and hold to back, k1, k1 from cable needle.
LT is a twist: put 1 st on cable needle and hold to front, k1, k1 from cable needle.
