The Björt Mittens are big and cozy and are worked top down from the fingertips to the cuff, like a toe up sock!
This way you can try them on as you go, you can make sure the thumb is in the right spot (move it up a few rounds if you have shorter fingers or palm) and you can make the cuff as long as you want!

Istex Álafoss lopi (100% Icelandic Wool; 109 yards / 100 m per 100 g/ 3.5 oz skein)
1 skein mc, and less than 1 skein cc1, cc2, cc3

Needles
US 8 (5 mm) DPNs or needle for preferred method of working small circumference in the round.

Gauge
16 st and 20 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in stranded color-work and stockinette st

Finished Size
9” / 23 cm circumference and 5½“ / 14 cm to start of cuff.
Approx 11” / 28 cm long from tip to cuff
