Blackberry pattern is an old favourite of mine, which creates a sculptural effect. Egyptian cotton from BC Garn has a beautiful twist and pattern definition, that shows the pattern off. The sweater and the cowl is knitted in double yarn. The idea of using a different pattern for the snood, was practical but still gives a dressed expression, I think.

Knitted with 2 strands held together.
