This double brim hat is knit in two colors with Kutch Embroidery worked inside the diamonds that makes it truly unique! Step by step instructions are given for the Kutch embroidery. The hat is written for 5 sizes.

Finished Size: 14 ¼ (16 ¼, 18 ¼, 20¼, 22¼) inches circumference and 7 (7 ½, 8 ¼, 8½, 9) inches high. Size shown in photo is 20¼.

Yarn: Catalina Yarn 100% Baby Alpaca (4ply); 218 yd (100 g); colors Natural White (CC) and Black (MC), 1 skein each.
Fingering, DK, Sport, Worsted weights work for this hat.

Needles Size: Size 4 (3.5mm) 16 inches circular (cir). Size 6 (4mm) 16 inches cir and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: 7 stitch markers of the same color and one differently colored marker (m), tapestry needle, pom pom maker.

Gauge: 20½ sts and 28 rows = 4 inches in St st on larger needle. 23 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches in St st on smaller needles.
