This sweater pattern is worked flat in four pieces and sewn up later using invisible mattress stitch. The back and front are the same. An all-over rib pattern flanking a central cable panel makes this a stretchy, flattering sweater with a bit of cling. The raglan shaping of the sleeves is slightly unusual - they decrease to point before the funnel neck is created by joining the front and back pieces.

This is an intermediate pattern, with cable crossings on every right side row and shaping instructions that ask the knitter to work new stitches into existing patterns. The shaping, however, is very easy with no stitches to pick up or short rows to work.

Choosing a Size: This sweater can be worn slim- fitting, with 0-1” of ease or oversized with 4-6” of ease, depending on the styling you like. The neck is the same on all sizes. The sleeves are quite slim fitting and are bracelet length, meant to end just at the wrist joint. You may wish to adjust the sleeve length - do so by adding length after increases are complete, before raglan shaping.
