Black Sheep (CAT) of the Family is a study / design of knitting in rounds to form a circle from outside in. This way of knitting eliminate the need of special cast on technique, and more suitable for intermediate beginners.

The coaster will serve cups / mugs / glasses up to 3” in diameter.

Gauge is given for the pattern, but it is not important to obtain the exact tension. The important part is to enjoy the knitting and the final product :D No blocking is necessary as it will be blocked when used (think about under a hot cup of coffee or tea).

I am using worsted weight acrylic yarn for easier washing, but could be replaced with cotton yarn.
