Blackwork Jacob's Ladder Afghan
Do you love the look of blackwork embroidery or a comfy vintage quilt? This interlocking filet crochet project combines both styles to create the Blackwork Jacob’s Ladder Afghan! A delicate border is added around the outside edge, incorporating both layers, to complete the look.
Since two contrasting colors are used to create the designs on the different “quilt blocks”, a YouTube tutorial is also included to explain the color changes for this project.
This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as a design chart for reference.
Since this pattern contains many diagonals to create the design, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique.
If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel and follow along with my FREE Interlocking Snowflake Coaster pattern! You can also read about it on my blog!
