Blake the Orangutan
Blake the Orangutan has been a much adored member of the menagerie for more than ten years, helping countless crocheters to master the ‘loop stitch’ technique. Based on these critically endangered primates known for their distinctive ginger fur, this crochet version was revised for the latest edition of Edward’s Menagerie.
This soft toy will look at home in the nursery, sitting on the shelf or lovingly gift-wrapped for the loved ones in your life. Once you’ve finished crocheting Blake the Orangutan, you’ll be ready to start the next animal in the collection with this addictive new hobby!
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
