This blanket poncho crochet pattern, or “ponchet” as I like to call it, is made by working rounds, increasing on the corner to make sure that it stays flat so it is usable as a blanket. The square in the centre is buttoned in place allowing it to be removed so the ponchet can then be slipped over the head and worn.
