Bláithnaid (blaw nid) is the Irish for little flower and is my latest baby blanket. I wanted something simple, repetitive and yet with a flair of detail to make it stand out and be special and hopefully I have accomplished that.

Suitable to be made in any yarn weight with a corresponding hook size this blanket can be made for both boys and girls.

A photo tutorial of the stitches is available. Suitable for a confident beginner.

The pattern is available in both US and UK terms. The pattern has also been tested by a wide range of people of various abilities.
