Blended Skies Shawl
The Blended Skies Shawl is an asymmetrical triangular shawl worked from a single point. By increasing in every row, the triangle gradually grows larger, making it easy to adjust the size to your preference.
The pattern includes both written instructions and a crochet chart.
For this design, I used Sesia Iride, a 100% organic cotton yarn (125 g – 450 m / approx. 492 yds). It’s a soft yarn with beautiful color transitions. The outer and inner strands are always the same color, which creates a smooth transition when using more than one ball.
The sample shawl measures approximately 70.8 inches (185 cm) wide and 33.5 inches (85 cm) high after blocking.
My shawl was made using 2 balls of Sesia Iride and a 3.5 mm (US E/4) crochet hook. This yarn is 100% cotton, but you can easily substitute it with a yarn of similar yardage (or use more or less for a different size).
After purchase, the pattern will be available for download in both Dutch (NL) and English (US).
