The model in the photo is wearing a size S, with a bust circumference of 81 cm (32”) and an upper bust circumference of 86 cm (34”), resulting in 33 cm (11”) of positive ease.

EXPLANATION OF THE SWEATER CONSTRUCTION
The first step is to knit the back of the sweater. You will start by casting on the required number of stitches for the upper back, then knit the back flat. After placing the back stitches on hold, you will pick up the stitches for the left and right shoulders, then work a few short rows before making the increases for the neckline. The front will then be knitted flat. The final step of the yoke is to join the front and back together.
The body will then be knitted in the round and finished with ribbing. The stitches for the neckline will be picked up and bound off, and the sleeve stitches will be picked up at the armholes and knitted in the round with a balloon sleeve finish and ribbing.

EXPLICATION DE LA CONSTRUCTION DU CHANDAIL
La première étape consiste à tricoter le dos du chandail. Vous commencerez par monter le nombre de mailles nécessaires pour le haut du dos, puis vous tricoterez le dos à plat. Après avoir mis les mailles du dos en attente, vous reprendrez celles des épaules gauche et droite, puis vous réaliserez quelques rangs raccourcis avant d’effectuer les augmentations pour le col. Le devant sera ensuite tricoté à plat. La dernière étape de l’empiècement consiste à joindre le devant et le dos. Le corps sera ensuite tricoté en rond, puis terminé par des côtes. Les mailles du col seront relevées puis rabattues, et celles des manches seront reprises au niveau des emmanchures et tricotées en rond avec une finition de manches ballon et des côtes.
