Sistah Knits’ new MKAL is for a cowl with several design options. You can choose which charts you’ll want to knit for each section and the type of finishing you want.

This is a short MKAL, with only 3 clues, released weekly starting Nov. 6th, then on Nov. 13th and Nov. 20th. Our hope is that you can finish your FIRST cowl just before Thanksgiving weekend so that you can knit your NEXT cowl DURING Thanksgiving weekend. :-)

Be sure to join the Bijou Basin Ranch group to follow the chatter and play along in our weekly contests. We will also have an FO contest a bit after the last clue is released. Winners get gift certificates to Bijou Basin Ranch.

Written and charted directions will be included.

Yarn:
Bijou Basin Ranch Lhasa Wilderness, 1 skein (180 yds total) OR Bijou Basin Ranch Bijou Bliss, 1 skein (150 yds total) OR get one of each. If you choose Bijou Bliss and you will want the cowl to be taller than 5 or 6”, be sure to get two skeins! Get extra yarn; you will want to make holiday gifts! :-D
Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) dpns, 16” or 24” circular for Lhasa; US 9 (5.5mm) dpns, 16” or 24” circular for
Notions: Cable needle. Yarn needle. Stitch markers.
