The designs on all six sides of the block, included in the Living Crafts pattern, are excerpted from Knitting Block by Block by Nicky Epstein, copyright 2010 Potter Craft.

Pattern states that any yarn at any gauge can be used, as long as each side of the cube is the same size. It specifies that:

For this project, Nicky used Cascade’s 220 Wool, which makes three blocks i.e. 3 sides of the cube with one skein on size 8 needles.

8 or 9 different colors appear in the photos, some in very small amounts for embellishment.
