Blockley Pullover
Errata
For the sleeves, “work Rnds 1-6 a tpta; pf” should read “work Rnds 1-6 a total of”
This is a classic, simple, raglan pullover with instructions given for two sleeve options: a traditional sleeve that tapers to the cuff OR a straight sleeve that is slightly gathered just above the cuff ribbing.
Shown worked in color blocking, you can certainly use just one color; either way, this will be a go-to sweater that you’ll reach for again and again.
Starting at the neckline, the sweater is worked from the top down. Increases are worked to shape the neckline before joining to work in the round.
When the yoke is complete, the sleeves and body are separated and worked from top to bottom.
The top down construction allows you to try on as you go and to add or reduce length to your liking. Fit Tips are given at different points in the instructions.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Chest: 36.5 (40.5, 43.5, 46.5) (48, 51, 55, 58)”
The sweater is designed to fit with 4-6” of positive ease. Choose a size that reflects your chest measurement plus the amount of ease you want. The sample shown is worked in size A with about 4” of ease.
Yoke depth: 7.5 (8, 8.5, 8.75) (9, 9.5, 10, 11)”
Body from underarm to bottom of ribbing: 13 (13, 13, 13) (14, 14, 14, 14)”
