NEEDLES and NOTIONS
16” circular needles, sizes 4 (3. 25 mm) and 6 (4 mm) or size to obtain gauge
1 set (4) double pointed needles (dpn) size 6 (4 mm)
5 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
GAUGE
21 sts and 26 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles Adjust needle size to achieve gauge.
Notes:
The hat shown was knit from both ends of the same center pull ball of yarn, alternating rounds. 1 round from the center and 1 round from the outside, to mitigate the pooling that can occur with hand dyed skeins of yarn.
