Originally designed for the Chicago Yarn Crawl, the Blossom Bucket Hat features our custom Spincycle colorway, Switcheroo.

This pattern uses DK weight yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, creating tidy little stitches and a denser fabric for structure.

It’s easy to adjust the sizing to create a larger or smaller hat depending on your needs.

Yarn
You’ll need approximately 225 yards (205m) of DK weight yarn.

I used approximately 1.5 skeins of Spincycle Dream State in Switcheroo (Knit 1’s exclusive custom color).

Sizing
The hat is designed to fit a 21” head, however, it is very easy to adjust this pattern. I’ve included notes in the pattern that will help you adjust the size.

Notions
A locking stitch marker can be helpful for holding your live stitch. Some people may prefer to mark their increases using stitch markers as well.
