The front and back of the pillow are crocheted separately and joined together at the edge. The butterfly is crocheted right into the pattern using Fair Isle or intarsia, or by cutting and tying the colors in as needed. The pattern uses a chart. Beads are sewn on after the pillow is finished. Any size yarn or hook can be used though that will affect the completed size. Remnants of each of four colors is needed. A little information on Fair Isle and intarsia is included with the pattern.
