One of three bonus patterns exclusively in my Full Moon Socks ebook.

Once in a Blue Moon. We’ve all heard this saying. It means there is a second full moon within the same calendar month which usually only occurs every 2.5 to 3 years, hence the saying referring to something rare. It can also mean the third of four full moons in a season. The term “blue moon” originated in the 16th century and sometimes the moon can actually appear bluish due to particles of dust or ash in the atmosphere. It seemed fitting to name one of the bonus patterns Blue Moon!
