I am pleased to introduce “Blue” the nudibranch/sea slug/sea dragon. He goes by many names but prefers to just be “Blue”! This little dude is only 3cm long, and floats upside down at the surface of the ocean waiting for food to come along. Don’t let his small size fool you! His favorite meal is the Portuguese Man-O-War Jelly fish. He is not affected by its powerful venom. Instead, he stores the venom in his tentacles and it is much more toxic than the actual jellyfish! If you see one of these guys, leave him alone or prepare for a painful experience!
