The shawl is composed of 152 3” squares, which are joined in the course of work. The pattern calls for 5.5 40g balls of fingering weight fine mohair yarn. The finished shawl is a triangle 76.5” wide and 41” deep before adding fringe.

The pattern is a variant on Violet Shawl by the same designer.
