Blue Shimmer (Blå Skimmer) was designed by Anna-Lisa Mannheimer Lunn in 1947 and was the most popular design produced by Bohus Stickning. The design was recreated in 1999 by Solveig Gustafsson of SOLsilke. In 2016 Pernille Silfverberg introduced a new variation - Blue Shimmer Dark with a medium blue background color.

Kit currently available from AngoraGarnet uses historically accurate colors and gauge.

Disambiguation:
There are two authorized reproductions of this original Bohus Stickning design. One is from the book Poems of Color, and the one was reproduced by SOLsilke and is now produced by AngoraGarnet. The two reproductions are visually similar, but use different weights of yarn, gauges, stitch counts, construction and directions, so they are not interchangable. To avoid confusion, here is a comparison of the two versions:
