The original pattern used Erika Knight yarn which is no longer available. The Lamana and Malabrigo are great alternate choices.

Size: 14 ½” Diam. unblocked
Materials:
Erika Knight Gossypium Cotton DK 50gr/109yds
3 Colors: 1 skein each - Sample in Pretty (A), Boho (B), Sea Fret (C)
Solid - 2 skeins - Sample in Gift
Crochet hook “F” or size needed to meet Gauge
Tapestry needle (steel)
Gauge: Pattern Rows 1 – 6 = 4” diam.
Terminology: Pattern written in US terms.
Ch - Chain
Sc - Single Crochet
Hdc - Half Double Crochet
Dc - Double Crochet
Tr - Triple Crochet
Rev Sc - Reverse Single Crochet
Beg - Beginning
BLO - Back Loops Only: work through the back loop of the designated stitches.
FO - Finish Off
Sk - Skip stitch
Sl St - Slip Stitch
Sp - Space
St - Stitch
Special Instructions:
Puff St: Yarn over and insert your hook into the specified stitch/space. Yarn over again and pull up a
long loop as tall as your double crochet. Yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch/space.
Yarn over again and pull up a long loop 3 times more. Yarn over and pull through all 9 loops on your hook.
Picot: Chain 3, sl st to the beginning dc using the front loop and the leg loop.
