Bobble Shortie Socks
The main feature of these little socks is their bobble edge, so unique.
They are knit in the round, from the cuff down and they feature a ribbed cable and a lace motif on the top of the foot.

SIZES
Medium (Large). To fit a foot circumference of approx. 8½ (9¾)” 21.5 (24.5) cm. Shown in size Medium.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Approx 230 (260) yards 210 (237) m of sock weight (fingering weight) yarn.

The samples shown were made using:
Speckled yarn: 1 skein of Shimmer by Skein yarn (75% merino, 20% nylon, 5% stellina; 440 yards 400 m / 100g). Shown in colorway Milky Way.
Solid yarn: 2* skeins of Peppino by Rhichard Devrieze (100% merino; 225 yards 206 m / 65g).

Note: You might get a pair out of just 1 skein of Peppino. I wear a womens size 9, so I needed to break into a second skein just for a few yards!
Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm) dpns or long circular needles for magic loop (my preferred length for magic loop is a 32”/80cm long needle).
Other notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
30 sts and 40 rounds to 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette St on US 1 (2.25 mm) needles.
