Bobbler Dress
Starting at the neck, Bobbler Dress is worked top-down: first flat (to make it easier to put on with buttons at the front), raising the back-neck with short-rows for anatomic fit; then continued in the round. It is shaped with several rounds of lifted increases to create the circular yoke.
Once the yoke is finished, a part of stitches is set aside for the sleeves.
The skirt is worked with further increases for A-line shaping. Sleeves are knit last, long or short option provided.
The dress is decorated with several CC stripes on the yoke (feel free to continue on the skirt), one of which includes large bobbles, which give the dress its name. All trimmings and a decorative waistline are done in garter stitch (you can choose to work it in MC or CC).
There are five sizes available; 12 - 18 months, 3 yrs, 4 yrs, 5yrs and 6 yrs old.
Please ask about specific metrage of yarn required. The pattern has been fully tech edited, graded and test knitted
