Bobbles-in-XL Cowl
I know it is supposed to be spring, but most of us still need a warm neck in the next weeks – and some of us year round! So let’s make a fast and easy cowl with bobbles from a squishy bulky single from Bond fiber that looks like candy floss!
Knitted bobbles, where do I start? I grew up in lederhosen country in Southern Germany, and bobbles were very much a part of knitted cardigans. Bobbles remind me of yodeling, which might or might not be a good thing. In this chunky cowl, the extra-large bobbles become weirdly beautiful and utterly wearable. This cowl goes with anything, lederhosen or not. Bobbles in XL are all the rage!
For this easy and fast knit, you have 2 options: the full length cowl, which ends in a wide yoke shape to prevent any gaps between your sweater and your cowl, or a shorter straight cowl.
