Note
Cuff-down socks worked mostly flat. Cuff is cast on and worked in the round, then leg and foot are worked flat while joining the edges of the fabric with S2kp to make a tube. Heel is created with German Short Rows. Right sock and left sock are symmetrical, however, two identical socks (two right socks, or two lefts) can be worn as a pair if you prefer. For striped version, colors are alternated every two rows while working leg, sole, and instep.

Note
パターンは, 輪針のマジックループ方式で説明されている. カフを輪で編む. 続けて, 往復編みで脚からつま先まで編みながら, 両端を中上 3 目一度で編みつけながら筒状にしていく. かかとは, ドイツ式引き返し編みで作る. 表側から見て編み目の向きが左右対称になるように, もう片方も同じ要領で編む. 靴下は左右同形なので 2 足同じものを編むことも可能. ストライプバージョンは, 脚と甲・足裏パートで, ２段ごとに MC と CC の糸をかえる.
