I was inspired by some macramé jar covers I saw on Pinterest for these adorable jar covers. They are very quick and easy to make and are a great way to reuse some recyclable jars you may have laying around. I chose to use some old Prego spaghetti sauce jars that I had recycled. You cannot even tell they are spaghetti sauce jars! It’s a great way to save the planet and make something adorable for your home!

Supplies Needed:

• Approx. 25-35 yards of crochet thread (size 3) or DK weight yarn (size 3). Some good ones to use are Red Heart Fashion Thread or Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend. WeCrochet also has some gorgeous crochet thread size 3 in many beautiful colors.

-Size F 3.75 mm hook, or hook size of your choice

-Empty jar in the size of your choice (the taller the better to show off detail)

-8 mm wooden beads (Optional. The amount needed will depend on your chosen stitch counts.)

-Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure, piece of cardboard for fringe/tassels
