Bois features a simple woodgrain stitch pattern that grows organically into a deep, intricate leafy border. The shawl is knit from the top down in one piece and features optional beads and a decorative icord edging. Pattern is provided as charts and written directions.

Specific directions are provided to knit two sizes of Bois: Small and Large. Pattern is also customizable so you can knit to any size you desire.

The body of this shawl is fun to knit and easily memorized. The edging flows naturally and features a unique leaf motif. Beads are optional. Side and bottom edges are seed stitch to prevent curling.
