Main color- Traveler Sport. Contrast color- Primo Fingering.

A simple A-line shape combined with the flowy fabric makes a flattering fit. Skirt is worked from the bottom up toward the waist, where a casing is knitted to accept the elastic.

The contrasting vertically-stranded purl stitch columns accentuate the movement in this design. I’ll be the first to admit this makes for a very fussy start, but once an inch or so is finished, one gets the hang of it. For ease of execution, one could forgo this contrast color and simply work the purls in the main color.

Pattern uses Stitch-Maps. (Stitch-maps.com). Instructions are also written.

Because the vertical stranding technique may be new to you, I ask you to read the tutorial/gauge swatch before getting started.
